When you book your honeymoon with Maritime Travel, we can set up your very own honeymoon registry to allow your friends and relatives to contribute to your honeymoon. You can set your registry up prior to booking as well, in case you want to ensure you've accumulated enough gift money to coordinate your dream honeymoon. You can visit your online registry to check your balance and keep tabs on how close you are to completing the balance of your dream trip!
Your Maritime Travel counsellor can provide you with custom honeymoon registry cards that you can insert with your wedding invites to notify guests that your honeymoon is registered. Why not receive contributions to your honeymoon as wedding gifts!

Out of Country Marriage Requirements
ARUBA
Aruba requires that a wedding ceremony for all non-residents must be performed in City Hall (after wards, you can have a religious service or a "Wedding Blessing" in the spot of your choice). All documents must be sent to the Civil Authorities one month prior to the ceremony. You must also provide proof of single status and birth certificates with raised seals. City Hall legal fees on weekdays: $90USD, on weekends: $250USD
BAHAMAS
The Bahamas require a one-day waiting period and the bride and groom must apply in person and provide proof of single status by the U.S. Consul at the American Embassy, Nassau, or a Bahamas notary public. The fee is $40USD
BARBADOS
Barbados does not have a waiting period, but requires that you apply for the license in person at the Ministry of Home Affairs. The fee is $75USD plus $25USD in Barbados postage stamps.
BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS
The BVI require a three-day waiting period; you must apply in person at the Attorney General's office in Tortola on the day of arrival and provide proof of single status. The fee is $110USD in BVI Postage Stamps.
CANCUN/COZUMEL
Cancun requires a two-day waiting period (none in Cozumel), blood test results and four witnesses (including their contact information). The fee is $230USD.
CAYMAN ISLANDS
The Cayman Islands require a letter from an authorized Marriage Officer, a marriage license from the Chief Secretary's Office and a 24-hour waiting period. The fee is $200USD.
CURACAO
Curaçao requires a three-day waiting period, written registration at least two months prior to the ceremony and proof of single status. The fee is $298USD.
DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
The Dominican Republic requires a written request for permission to marry be submitted to the American Consulate in Santo Domingo, a notarized statement (approved by embassy) of single status and a fee of $20USD. All documents must be translated into Spanish.
GRENADA
Grenada requires a three-day waiting period, a fee of about $4USD and a minimal stamp duty.
JAMAICA
Jamaica requires a one-day waiting period, a marriage license from the Minister of National Security and a fee of $150.
PUERTO RICO
Puerto Rico requires the results of a blood test taken within the past 10 days, a health certificate from a resident practitioner in Puerto Rico, and $30USD for a certified copy of the marriage license.
ST. KITTS & NEVIS
Both islands require a waiting period of two full workdays and proof of single status from a Notary Public in the USA, also available for $20USD in Nevis. Application forms must be completed in presence of a Justice of the Peace. The fee is $80USD for a marriage license from the Bureau in Charlestown, on St. Kitts.
ST. LUCIA
Romance, Weddings & Honeymoons
St Lucia is the perfect destination for Caribbean weddings, honeymoons or romantic getaways. We have been voted the best wedding and honeymoon destination year after year, and most hotels offer wedding packages that allow you to get married your way. It's easy to get married in St Lucia. There are no residency requirements and with a special license the ceremony can be performed within 24 hours of arrival. The fee for this special license is EC$540. For a normal wedding licence you just need to stay here for 4 days before the wedding and the cost is EC$335.
ST. MARTIN/ST. MAARTEN
No matter where you're staying on the island, the civil ceremony must be performed on the Dutch side (Saint Maarten) by a magistrate. Request permission from the Lt. Governor and register 10 days before ceremony at the Office of Civil Registry. The fee is $152USD.
TRINIDAD & TOBAGO
Trinidad & Tobago requires a three-day waiting period, and both bride and groom must be non-residents. The fee is $55USD.
TURKS & CAICOS
Turks & Caicos requires a two- to three-day waiting period, proof of single status (a notarized copy of affidavit), and the marriage must be solemnized by a registrar of the Marriage Office (usually the Registrar General for Special Licenses). The fee is $50USD.
ST. VINCENT & THE GRENADINES
St. Vincent requires a one-day waiting period, and your application must be filed in person at the Ministry of Legal Affairs. The fee is $190USD plus $7.50USD in stamp fees.
UNITED STATES VIRGIN ISLANDS
The USVI requires a waiting period of eight days from receipt of notarized application (couple need not be on-island); request the marriage license from a Territorial Court of the USVI (on St. Croix or St. Thomas). The fee is $50USD, or $200USD to be married
